About Me

I have been working in the field for over a decade, and most recently working at Center for Contextual Change with Mary Jo Barrett. I have accumulated knowledge, skills, and awareness in relation to how trauma happens and how it impacts all of us. Whether you are here looking for answers for yourself, clients, colleagues, or a community organization there is something here for anyone.

I have found that transforming behaviors takes a multifaceted toolbox so I integrate the Good Lives model, Collaborative Change model, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness, and Body Integration models to give clients a more integrated treatment experience. I believe any amount of change is possible with the right mindset and tools.

I am dedicated to providing treatment to those struggling with using violence against others and those who have had violence used against them. I am currently passionate about how we can be doing a better job at preventing violence before it has harmful consequences and impact in our communities. My specific areas of expertise are around sexual abuse, sexual addictions, anger outbursts,  and patterns of self destructive behaviors.

“One knows that the only certainty in this life is change, but believes that the change can be directed towards a constructive end.” — Henry A. Wallace
